ERF2

Information ERF2

Description

Encodes a member of the ERF (ethylene response factor) subfamily B-3 of ERF/AP2 transcription factor family (ATERF-2). The protein contains one AP2 domain. Functions as activator of GCC box#Aeidependent transcription. Positive regulator of JA-responsive defense genes and resistance to F. oxysporum and enhances JA inhibition of root elongation.
